Join JBF Greens for Japanese-American cuisine at Lingo in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Helmed by owner Misako Hsu and James Beard Award Semifinalist® chef Emily Yuen, Lingo strives to expand the perception of Japanese cuisine in America. The restaurant’s name draws from the Japanese word for “apple” (ringo), a tribute to Misako’s Tokyo roots and a nod to New York City.
For this occasion, chef Emily will present a three-course menu of Lingo’s signature dishes, largely inspired by her culinary journey through Canada, France, Singapore, and New York.

Additional Information
Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, the James Beard Foundation will offer options including ticket exchanges, use of tickets for future events, and an option to donate tickets.
Terms
*70% of your ticket price will go directly to the host chef to support their business; 30% will go towards the Foundation’s national programming that is rooted in advocacy, racial equity, sustainability, and women’s leadership for the culinary industry.
*Ticket price is inclusive of all food offerings, beverage pairings and gratuity
