Join JBF Greens at Arquet, a hyper-local wood-fire restaurant from the team behind Sorrel Restaurant.
Chef/owner Alexander Hong honed his craft in kitchens such as Jean-Georges in New York City, Quince in San Francisco, and Frasca Food and Wine in Boulder. After opening Sorrel in 2018, and earning a James Beard Award nomination that same year, Hong expanded his vision in 2025 with the opening of Arquet and Parachute Bakery in San Francisco’s iconic Ferry building.
For this occasion, chef Hong will create a three-course menu that draws inspiration from the vibrant ingredients of the Ferry Building Farmers Market. Dessert will be prepared by bakery executive chef Nasir Amar and wine pairings curated by beverage director Thomas Renshaw.

Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, the James Beard Foundation will offer options including ticket exchanges, use of tickets for future events, and an option to donate tickets.

*70% of your ticket price will go directly to the host chef to support their business; 30% will go towards the Foundation’s national programming that is rooted in advocacy, racial equity, sustainability, and women’s leadership for the culinary industry.
