A Family-Friendly Afternoon with Co-Owner Petrushka Bazin Larsen
Cap off summer with a sweet and creative adventure! Join Petrushka Bazin Larsen, co-owner of Harlem’s Sugar Hill Creamery, for a joyful, immersive experience designed especially for kids ages six to ten.
Petrushka will guide kids through a fun, interactive cooking demo and share the basics of how everyone’s favorite frozen treat is made. Kids will then channel their inner artist by crafting their own imaginary ice cream flavors using homemade playdough. To top it all off, everyone will enjoy a scoop (or two!) of Sugar Hill Creamery’s signature ice creams, complete with a toppings bar.
Each child must have their own ticket; grown-ups are welcome to stay and observe but do not need to purchase a ticket.

Reservation Policy:
All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, JBF will offer a range of options, including ticket exchanges, the option to donate tickets, or a full refund. Terms
Tickets to events held at Platform at Pier 57 by the James Beard Foundation cover the cost of food, education and a unique dining experience. Meals are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. Unless otherwise stated, alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.
